The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 10-hour water cut scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, affecting multiple areas in the Gampaha District.
According to the NWSDB, the water supply will be suspended from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the following areas:

Urban Council areas: Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, and Katunayake-Seeduwa

Pradeshiya Sabha areas: Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha
The temporary suspension is being implemented to facilitate the connection of the solar grid at the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant to the main electricity grid and to carry out essential maintenance work, the NWSDB stated.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions and store sufficient water in advance.
