The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 12-hour water cut in several areas of Colombo on Thursday, January 16.
The water supply to Colombo 12, 13, 14, and 15 will be suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. tomorrow.
This disruption is necessary to carry out essential maintenance work on the main pipeline that supplies water to Colombo, the NWSDB stated.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to store sufficient water in advance and use it sparingly during the maintenance period.
