Water supply to several areas in Katugastota will be suspended for 48 hours due to essential maintenance work at the Katugastota Water Treatment Plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.
Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended from 9.00 a.m. tomorrow (October 6) until 9.00 a.m. on October 8.
The NWSDB said residents of Uduwawala, Rajapihilla and Gonigoda will be affected by the interruption.
The public has been advised to use stored water sparingly throughout the period of the water supply disruption.
