Cabinet Media Spokesperson, Minister Nalinda Jayatissa, announced that Speaker Ashoka Ranwala will soon make a statement regarding his doctorate.
Responding to questions from journalists, the Minister remarked that accusing the Speaker has become a primary focus for certain groups in recent days.
When asked about the course of action if the allegations against the Speaker are proven true, the Minister stated that the government would express its stance on the matter following the Speaker’s clarification.
