According to cricket sources, the three-year cricket ban imposed on Niroshan Dickwella has been significantly reduced to three months.
As per the sources, Dickwella is now eligible to participate in all forms of cricket starting today (11).
The cricketer faced allegations of doping during this year’s Lanka Premier League tournament.
The Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency (SLADA) revealed the offense during its investigation, prompting authorities to impose an indefinite ban on Dickwella from all cricket activities.
The reduction in the ban marks a significant turn in the case, allowing the player to resume his cricketing career.
