Sri Lanka has unveiled a formidable 17-member squad, led by Charith Asalanka, for their upcoming three-match away ODI series against New Zealand.
The squad remains largely unchanged from the team that secured a 2-0 victory at home against New Zealand last month, with three key changes. Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dushan Hemantha, and Dilshan Madushanka have been replaced by Lahiru Kumara, Eshan Malinga, and Wanindu Hasaranga for the tour.
Pathum Nissanka and Charith Asalanka, ranked No. 9 and No. 10 in the ICC ODI Player Rankings for batters, have been in excellent form and will aim to maintain their momentum on foreign soil.
