A total of 401 drunk drivers were arrested during special raids conducted by the Police across Sri Lanka in the last 24 hours, ending at 06:00 am today.
According to the Police, 605 raids were carried out targeting the festive season.
In addition to the arrests for drunk driving, 48 individuals were apprehended for speeding, 1,350 for various traffic violations, 53 for reckless driving, 865 for license-related offenses, and 5,351 for other infractions.
