The Grade 11 Sinhala Literature question paper for the term test in the North Central Province (NCP) has been confirmed to have leaked on social media, prompting swift action by authorities.
Education Secretary to the North Central Province, Sirimevan Dharmasena, announced that the final term test, initially scheduled for today (January 6), has been postponed due to the breach.
The distribution of the leaked question paper was halted this morning across more than 600 schools in the province, which span 30 educational divisions across eight zones, Dharmasena stated.
To maintain the integrity of the examination process, the Education Secretary confirmed that a new question paper will be prepared and distributed. The examination will remain temporarily suspended until the revised arrangements are in place.
