The government has initiated a process to gather public opinions as part of its efforts to develop a comprehensive national policy on artificial intelligence (AI).
Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eranga Weeraratne, announced that the deadline for submitting opinions is set for March 14.
A specially appointed committee will analyze the feedback and incorporate it into the final draft of the policy.
This initiative aims to ensure that the policy reflects diverse perspectives while addressing the opportunities and challenges posed by AI.
