The Department of Meteorology forecasts showers or thundershowers in a few places across Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts this evening or night (Feb 3).
According to the latest weather update, mainly fair conditions will prevail over other parts of the island.
Additionally, misty conditions are expected in the morning in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, and Uva provinces, as well as in Galle and Matara districts.
