The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has confirmed that the government has adequate fuel reserves to meet the country’s demand.
CPC Chairman D.A. Rajakaruna stated that fuel stocks have been secured until August this year. He also noted that over 1,500 fuel orders were received yesterday, with distribution currently underway.
Meanwhile, a discussion between fuel distributors and government officials to address existing concerns is scheduled for tomorrow. The Petroleum Distributors’ Association has confirmed its participation in the meeting at 9 a.m., following the Chairman’s notification.
