National People’s Power (NPP) Executive Committee member Vraie Cally Balthazar has been announced as the party’s Mayoral Candidate for the Colombo Municipal Council in the upcoming Local Government elections.
JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva made the announcement at a public meeting, adding that the NPP intends to field women candidates for 25% of the nomination lists across all local government bodies.
