A new mobile application, EC EDR, has been introduced today to facilitate the submission of complaints related to the 2025 Local Government (LG) Elections.
The launch event took place this morning at the Election Commission, where Chairman R.M.A.L. Ratnayake highlighted the app’s significance in streamlining the complaint process.
“If the public has a complaint, they can now submit it through this app,” Ratnayake stated. “The person who made the complaint can also track its progress.”
He further emphasized that the app allows users to upload videos and images to support their complaints, enhancing transparency and accountability in the electoral process.
