NTC Receives 187 Complaints on Bus Services During Sinhala and Tamil New Year

The National Transport Commission (NTC) announced that it had received 187 complaints from passengers regarding bus services during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festive season.

According to NTC Director General Ms. Naomi Jayawardena, 163 of these complaints were related to the failure to charge approved bus fares.

Additionally, several complaints were lodged via the 1955 hotline concerning the non-issuance of tickets.

Ms. Jayawardena stated that investigations into these complaints will commence after the conclusion of the festive season.
