Discussions between Sri Lanka and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program have officially commenced.
The talks are currently underway in Washington, D.C.
Deputy Minister of Finance, Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando, confirmed that a delegation comprising officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank has traveled to the United States to participate in the negotiations.
