A four-member police team has been appointed to assist in the ongoing investigations into the allegations against Inspector General of Police (IGP) Deshabandu Tennakoon.
The team will support the committee currently conducting the investigation.
The appointment was made following a request from the relevant parliamentary committee to the Acting IGP.
