Sri Lanka Post announced that over 90% of official polling cards for the local government elections have been distributed.
Deputy Postmaster General Premarathna Herath stated that the door-to-door distribution of polling cards will be completed by tomorrow.
Voters who do not receive their official polling cards by tomorrow will be able to collect them from their nearest post office. This facility will be available until 4 PM on May 6th, the day of the election.
Meanwhile, postal voting for the local government elections continued today for the third consecutive day and is scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
