The Ministry of Education has announced that a number of schools will remain closed on Wednesday, May 7, in view of the 2025 Local Government (LG) Election.
As previously announced, all schools islandwide will remain closed on Monday (May 5) and Tuesday (May 6) due to the election. In addition, 35 specific schools will remain closed on Wednesday (May 7) as well.
These schools are scheduled to reopen on Thursday, May 8.
