Member of Parliament Dr. Ramanathan Archchuna was removed from the Parliamentary Chamber today (May 8) for disrupting proceedings during a debate on proposed amendments to the Customs Ordinance.
According to parliamentary sources, Dr. Archchuna was repeatedly warned by the presiding member to maintain order, but he failed to comply, prompting his removal from the chamber.
The incident occurred during this afternoon’s session as MPs engaged in a heated debate over the proposed legislative changes.
