Senior Police Officers Transferred in Immediate Reshuffle Approved by National Police Commission

Sri Lanka Police Headquarters has announced a series of immediate transfers and appointments of senior officers, following the approval of the National Police Commission.

According to the official statement, the following senior officers have been reassigned:

1. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) L.M.S. Bandara
    – Transferred from Director of the Welfare Division to Officer-in-Charge of the Kurunegala Division.

2. SSP A.G.U.C. Herath
    – Transferred from Officer-in-Charge of the Kurunegala Division to Director of Police Headquarters Administration.

3. SSP S.P.K. Gallage
    – Transferred from the Monaragala Division to Director of the Welfare Division.

4. SSP I.C.U.I. Kandewatte
    – Transferred from the Kegalle Division to Officer-in-Charge of the Thambuttegama Division.

5. Superintendent of Police (SP) K.W.G. Thusharasena
    – Transferred from Police Headquarters to the Western Province South Traffic Division.

These transfers and appointments are effective immediately, according to the Police Headquarters.
