Senior Police Officers Transferred and Appointed to New Positions

The Police Headquarters has announced the immediate transfer and appointment of several senior gazetted officers, following the approval of the National Police Commission.

Among the key appointments, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohan Lal Siriwardana has been appointed as the Director (Investigation) of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC). He previously served as the SSP in charge of the Financial Crimes Investigation Division of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Transfers and Appointments of Senior Officers:

2. SP A.S.K. Bandara – Transferred from the Ampara Division to the CID

3. ASP W.T. Anuranga – Transferred from the Mount Lavinia Police Division to the CID

4. ASP B.L.A. Prasanna – Transferred from the Elpitiya Police Division to the Nugegoda Police Division

5. ASP M.D.P. Deepthi Kumara – Transferred from the Nugegoda Police Division to the Elpitiya Police Division

2. Chief Inspector W.D.K.C. Navaratne – From Colombo Central Range to OIC, Balangoda Police Station

3. Chief Inspector R.P.C.U. Rajapaksa – From Human Resources Management Division to OIC, Udawalawe Police Station
