Around 730 housing units will be built in Colombo at a cost of Rs. 7.48 billion under the relaunched Urban Revitalization Project, according to a Cabinet paper presented by Housing Minister Anura Karunathilaka.
The project includes two housing schemes located on Colombage Mawatha and Torrington Mawatha, which are expected to be completed within two and a half years.
Cabinet approval for the proposal was granted early last week.
