Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Sujith Sanjaya Perera stated that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is prepared to form a new government in collaboration with progressive factions of the National People’s Power if necessary.
Commenting on the recent SupremeSat controversy, Perera noted that it revealed divisions within the National People’s Power government.
He also suggested that Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe’s actions may be aimed at undermining Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya by portraying her as incompetent.
