A tragic incident was reported in the United States when a tiger fatally attacked its trainer during a performance at an animal conservation park.
Foreign media said the attack took place at the Growler Pines Tiger Conservation Park in Hugo, Oklahoma, where a 37-year-old man, identified as Ryan Easley, was killed on the spot.
The tiger, which Easley had raised since it was a cub, suddenly leapt on him during the performance, biting his neck and shoulder. The incident occurred in full view of the audience, including Easley’s wife and young daughter.
Reports indicate that his wife managed to remove the tiger and secure it in another cage immediately after the attack.
Easley’s body was later transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for an autopsy.
