Creating an exciting opportunity for all, the AI National Expo opened in Colombo this morning.
This National Artificial Intelligence Exhibition and Conference, marking a new era in Sri Lanka’s technology sector, is organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy together with SLT Mobitel. The event will be held today and tomorrow in Thalawathugoda.
The program aims to position Sri Lanka as a regional hub by promoting the use of AI to strengthen the national economy.
Local and international leaders, innovators, and policymakers in the field of AI were in attendance.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne, inaugurating the Expo, announced that Google has agreed to provide students free access to its AI platform Gemini and other related benefits. (News1st)
