The Department of Meteorology forecasts several spells of showers in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara-Eliya districts today (30).
A few showers may also occur in the North-western province.
Fairly strong winds of around 30–40 kmph are expected at times over the Western slopes of the central hills, and in the Northern, North-central, North-western, and Central provinces, as well as in the Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.
