Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to visit China from October 12 to 15, 2025, to participate in the “Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism announced.
During her visit, the Prime Minister will deliver a keynote address at the conference, which is jointly organized by China and UN Women under the theme “One Shared Future: New & Accelerated Process for Women’s All-round Development”, to be held in Beijing.
In addition to the conference, Dr. Amarasuriya is expected to hold high-level bilateral meetings, including discussions with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
