The Department of Meteorology says that showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Northern and Uva Provinces, as well as in the Trincomalee District, after 2.00 p.m. today (05).
A few showers are also likely in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central Provinces, the Department added.
The public is advised to take adequate precautions to minimize potential damages caused by temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
