Supreme Court Justice S. Thurairaja was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (07).
The appointment was made in view of the overseas visit of Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena.
Justice Thurairaja will serve as the Acting Chief Justice until Chief Justice Surasena’s return to the country.
