The Ministry of Education has announced that all schools across the island will reopen on December 16 for the final phase of the third school term.
At a special media briefing, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education, Nalaka Kaluwewa, stated that schools were originally scheduled to reopen on December 8.
However, the reopening has been postponed in view of the prevailing disaster situation affecting many parts of the country.
