The Ministry of Education has reaffirmed that schools will reopen on December 16, as previously announced.
However, Secretary to the Ministry of Education Nalaka Kaluwewa stated that the situation will continue to be closely monitored.
“If any adjustment to the reopening date is required, the Ministry will issue an official announcement,” he said.
