The Chinese government has announced significant financial and relief assistance to support Sri Lanka as the country faces a severe disaster triggered by the recent cyclone.
According to the Chinese Embassy in Colombo, China has provided a cash donation of US$1 million to aid immediate relief efforts.
In addition, the Chinese government has supplied relief materials valued at 10 million yuan, further strengthening ongoing humanitarian support for affected communities.
More assistance is expected as coordination continues between the two countries.
