The government has decided that relief should be provided to clean and restore all religious places affected by recent adverse weather conditions, ensuring their activities return to normal.
Accordingly, the Cabinet has approved an allowance of Rs. 25,000 for the cleaning and restoration work at these religious sites.
The Cabinet also approved the proposal submitted by the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, to allocate the required funds to the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs for this purpose.
