The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a suspension of water supply to multiple areas in and around Colombo today (03) following a sudden breakdown in the main transmission pipeline from Ambatale to Dehiwala.
Water supply has been completely cut off in the following areas:

Rawathawatta

Soysapura

Ratmalana
-
Mount Lavinia
-
Dehiwala
-
Wellawatte
-
Pamankada
-
Mulleriyawa
-
Kolonnawa
Residents in Battaramulla will also experience low water pressure.
The NWSDB is currently carrying out repairs and expects to restore normal water supply to all affected areas by midnight today (03).
