Former Deputy Leader of the United National Party and Member of Parliament Ravi Karunanayake says that if export growth is to play a key role in the country’s recovery from the current crisis, the government also has a responsibility to support that effort.
He stated that borrowing alone is not the solution to the country’s problems.
Instead, he emphasized that the country must create a conducive environment to promote export growth.
