Police Narcotics Bureau Sri Lanka has arrested two suspects in Angoda with a stock of narcotics worth nearly Rs. 50 million.
According to Sri Lanka Police, the suspects were taken into custody during a raid conducted last night based on intelligence information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau.
Police stated that the suspects were found in possession of 2.3 kilograms of “ice” narcotics and 700 grams of heroin.
The drugs were reportedly being transported in a motor vehicle at the time of the arrest.
Further investigations are underway.
