Deadline for Claims and Objections on 2026 Voters’ Register Set for June 5

The National Election Commission of Sri Lanka says the deadline for submitting claims and objections related to the 2026 electoral register has been set for June 5, 2026.

Chairman RMAL Rathnayake stated that the preliminary draft of the voters’ register has now been displayed for public inspection.

According to the Commission, voters can verify their details at District Election Offices and Grama Niladhari offices across Sri Lanka.

The Chairman further noted that the facility to check voter registration details is also available through the official website of the Election Commission.
