Next Water Tariff Revision Scheduled for June 30

Susil Ranasinghe, Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply, says the next revision of water tariffs in Sri Lanka will take place on June 30.

According to the Minister, water tariffs will be reviewed twice annually in line with prevailing economic and operational conditions.

He stated that the upcoming tariff revision will be determined based on the situation existing as of June 30.

The revised rates are expected to reflect the current operational costs and financial requirements of the water supply sector at the time of the review.
