Patricia Lazara Pego Guevara held discussions yesterday (13) with the board of directors of the National Sports Academy Sri Lanka regarding sports education and bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the National Sports Academy, Sajith Jayalal, along with members of the Academy’s board of directors.
During the discussions, attention was focused on educational activities related to sports conducted by the Academy and possible areas of support and cooperation involving Cuba.
Officials also discussed the implementation of the existing 2012 agreement signed between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Sri Lanka and Cuba concerning sports development cooperation between the two countries.
