The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has announced a fuel price revision effective from midnight today (May 30), increasing the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene.
According to the revised pricing structure, petrol and diesel prices have recorded notable increases amid continued volatility in global energy markets and rising import costs.
The revised fuel prices are as follows:
- Auto Diesel – Rs. 407 per litre (increased by Rs. 15)
- Super Diesel – Rs. 478 per litre (increased by Rs. 20)
- Petrol 92 Octane – Rs. 434 per litre (increased by Rs. 24)
- Petrol 95 Octane – Rs. 495 per litre (increased by Rs. 25)
- Kerosene – Rs. 285 per litre (increased by Rs. 20)
The latest revision comes amid increased pressure on fuel pricing due to global oil market fluctuations, currency pressures, and rising import costs.
The new prices will come into effect from midnight nationwide.
