Reliable sources have dismissed reports circulating on social media claiming that the Suwaseriya Ambulance Service was preparing to suspend operations from 8.00 p.m. last night, describing the information as completely false.
According to the sources, the emergency ambulance service continues to operate normally across the island and there are no plans to suspend services.
Officials further clarified that although certain employee groups have raised issues and demands, these matters have not affected the operation of the ambulance network or the emergency medical services provided to the public.
Authorities urged the public not to be misled by unofficial and unverified reports circulating on social media.
They also requested the public to continue using the Suwaseriya emergency service through the 1990 hotline as usual, assuring that services remain fully operational nationwide.
