Showers or thundershowers are expected at times today (14) in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the districts of Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya, according to the Department of Meteorology.
The Department also stated that a few showers may occur in the Mannar and Anuradhapura districts.
Meanwhile, strong winds with speeds of around 40–50 kmph can be expected at times over the western slopes of the central hills, the Northern and North-Central provinces, and the districts of Hambantota and Trincomalee.
