Restaurant Owners Announce Food Price Reductions Following LP Gas Price Cut

The All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association has announced that food prices will be reduced with effect from midnight today (04) following the recent reduction in the price of domestic LP gas cylinders.

Association Chairman Harshana Rukshan said the price of a packet of rice will be reduced by Rs. 15.

He added that the prices of fried rice and kottu will also be reduced by Rs. 15 each.

In addition, the prices of short eats, parotta, and egg roti will be reduced by Rs. 5 each.

The Association further announced that the prices of both plain tea and milk tea will also be reduced by Rs. 5 per cup.

The price revisions will come into effect from midnight and are expected to provide some relief to consumers following the reduction in domestic LP gas prices.
