July 22, 2026

The Ministry of Finance says Sri Lanka has planned to repay USD 1 billion in foreign debt during this year as part of its ongoing debt servicing commitments.

The Ministry noted that an equivalent amount of USD 1 billion in foreign debt repayments was also made last year.
