Sri Lanka has recorded 97,637 dengue cases so far this year, according to the National Dengue Control Unit.
The Unit reported that 74 people have died from dengue during the same period.
A total of 2,146 dengue cases were reported during the first 13 days of September.
Gampaha District has recorded the highest number of cases, with 20,742 reported so far this year.
Colombo follows with 19,235 cases, while Kandy and Kalutara have recorded 7,291 and 6,247 cases, respectively.
