In a significant diplomatic ceremony, Mr. Paitoon Mahapannaporn, representing the Kingdom of Thailand as the newly appointed Ambassador, and Major General (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz, serving as the High Commissioner of Pakistan, formally presented their credentials to President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the President’s House.
The distinguished event took place this morning, March 12, where Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry, PC, and Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake joined in welcoming the esteemed diplomats. The presence of the diplomatic envoys underscores the strengthening ties and mutual respect between Sri Lanka and the Kingdom of Thailand as well as Pakistan.
