CEB to Submit Revised Electricity Tariff Reduction Proposal Tomorrow

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) announced that it will present its revised proposal for reducing electricity tariffs to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) tomorrow.

The CEB stated that it has completed the review of the relevant data and will finalize calculations today to determine the percentage reduction in electricity tariffs.

This follows a previous submission by the CEB, which the PUCSL requested be revised and resubmitted. Once the revised proposal is received, the PUCSL will take the necessary steps to address the matter.

The updated proposal is expected to provide clarity on the tariff adjustments, aiming to meet regulatory requirements and consumer expectations.
