Showers or thundershowers are expected at a few places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.
Mainly dry weather will prevail across the rest of the island.
Misty conditions are likely in some areas of the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces, and in the Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.
The public is advised to take necessary precautions to minimize damage caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
