Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Madura Seneviratne, confirmed that all roads leading to the Nuwara Eliya district have now been reopened.
The roads were temporarily closed following Cyclone Ditva, which caused landslides and other hazards across the region.
The district has reported 89 deaths, with 35 people still missing. Currently, 2,794 individuals are being accommodated in 35 security centers within the district.
Authorities continue to monitor conditions and provide assistance to affected residents.
