Apple and ISSEY MIYAKE Unveil the ‘iPhone Pocket’ — A Blend of Fashion, Technology, and Craftsmanship

November 13, 2025

Japanese fashion designer ISSEY MIYAKE, renowned for his innovative and technology-driven creations, has collaborated with Apple to introduce the iPhone Pocket — a stylish, 3D-woven case designed to fit any iPhone model.

The iPhone Pocket will be available starting Friday, November 14, at select Apple Stores and apple.com in France, Greater China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Designed with versatility in mind, the iPhone Pocket can be carried by hand, attached to a bag, or worn directly on the body. The short strap design comes in eight colors — lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock blue, sapphire blue, cinnamon, and black — while the long strap version is available in sapphire blue, cinnamon, and black.

The short strap model is priced at $149.95, and the long strap model at $229.95.

“iPhone Pocket is about the joy of wearing your iPhone in a way that suits you,” said ISSEY MIYAKE, adding that the simplicity of its design reflects the brand’s philosophy of minimalism and personal interpretation.

Molly Anderson, Apple’s Vice President of Industrial Design, described the collaboration as “a celebration of craftsmanship, simplicity, and joy.”

Designed and developed in Japan, the iPhone Pocket draws inspiration from ISSEY MIYAKE’s iconic concept of “a piece of cloth,” and represents the culmination of close collaboration between ISSEY MIYAKE’s research and development team and the Apple Design Studio.
